Jason Kersley, AIA LEED AP

An architect who skillfully balances design, management and technical knowledge,

Jason has more than 16 years of experience working on complex and diverse project types: mixed use, commercial, civic, laboratory, places of worship, as well as both primary and higher education.  Beginning with a background in a variety of construction industry trades, he has the experience and capacity to understand and capture design intent within all details of a project. He finds weaving design with constructability one of the most rewarding challenges of the entire design process.  Involvement in projects from early design through project management and construction site relationships has allowed him to develop his leadership and teamwork abilities and expand his desire for meaningful architecture.

"We are designing buildings and the spaces between them, but we strive to elevate every solution to the realm of architecture. There are many buildings around us, but great places are defined by their attention to carefully wrought architecture and urban design."

Jason was the 2013 President of the Colorado North Chapter of The American Institute of Architects and is a LEED accredited professional. He is licensed in Colorado and Kansas.  In 2013 he co-founded [au]workshop after nearly seven years with RB+B Architects in Fort Collins.
