The Rialto Theater Center is an addition to the historic and much beloved Rialto Theater in the heart of downtown Loveland.  A dynamic public/private/philanthropic partnership resulted in a $4 million building that includes much-needed back-of-house uses for the Rialto Theater including wing space off the existing stage, a street-fronting third- party restaurant, an expanded theater lobby and patron service areas.  A second level community room and third story commercial office spaces round out the total of 20,000 square feet of new construction not including minor alterations to existing lobby and stage areas.  Randy was the project designer and Brian Betsill was the project manager/project architect for the Rialto Theater Center while both were with RB+B Architects.

For a summary of the project, including an interview with Randy and major stakeholders, see the 2010 Annual Celebration of Philanthropy video here. Or, listen to the president and CEO of the National Trust for Historic Preservation's thoughts on the project here.
